Gage Maternity // Ridgecrest Family

This is the THIRD time I am photographing the Gage family and I am so blessed to be a part of this new addition to their family. They will be welcoming a little girl into their family next month and I am so excited to meet her!

I keep coming back to these images because they are honestly some of my favorite that I have taken thus far. Natalie is so beautiful and her bump is just so perfect. We had great weather (minus the wind) and beautiful light.

As we wrap up our last few months here in Ridgecrest, it is hitting me more and more that most of these faces will not be in front of my camera again (at least for a long time) and while this thought makes me sad, I also have so much joy that I was able to love and serve these families during my time here in the desert. I have so enjoyed watching the Gage family grow through my lens but I am so incredibly blessed that I was able to be a part of their memories thus far. Thank you Gages for being AWESOME and for trusting me time and time again!

Baby Bump Extravaganza!

I've been visiting Cara weekly now since late October! How is that even possible? Every week I head over to snap some shots of her growing belly. I absolutely love our weekly visits, even though they are usually less than an hour. Her girls yell my name as I walk up the driveway. Cara and I chat and catch up while we move the sofa and hang up the sheet.

Well, I move the sofa because she is pregnant with twins and should not be moving anything!

We talk about life challenges we are each facing and celebrate the good and fun things that are always there even though the tough stuff always gets more attention. She is such a blessing to me and I am so incredibly inspired by everything about her. Her marriage and family are a true testament and witness of Gods eternal goodness and blessing. I can't even fathom having FOUR kids and she is handling it with grace and humbleness that I could only ever aspire to have in my own life.

Watching and documenting this time in her and her husbands life has affected me in ways I never thought possible. Although I am very excited to meet little Alex and Austin when they arrive next month, I will absolutely miss my weekly visits at the Christman house. But I will be forever grateful to have been a part of this time in this growing families lives!

Here are a few more posts that are a part of the Christman twins arrival!
