They’re just about the tastiest dessert: full of flavor with that distinct melt-in-your-mouth texture. They’re small and simple, yet elegant and charming. Bridesmaids & Moms

Asking your closest friends to be your bridesmaid can be a tough task when trying to find the right gifts. Common things gifted are jewelry, nail polish, mini bottles of hooch, etc. but adding that special touch of French Macarons can just be the cherry on top! In addition to bridesmaids, mom’s and mom-in-laws would love this as well!

Vendors

Macarons are a great way to say “thank you” to your wonderful vendors who have invested their time and skills into making your big day special. It’s not often that vendors receive “thank you” gifts from their clients…and such a little gift can really mean a lot!

Wedding Favors

Macaron favors are ALWAYS a big hit. They’re great because they are a lovely addition to your table décor and are also a decadent take-home treat! A two for one which is a great way to stay within your wedding budget. If you’re planning on a having a dessert bar, macarons are a great addition because you can customize these cookies to your wedding colors into the mix of sweet treats. Yet another way to incorporate aesthetic and deliciousness.

At Le Mignon Macaron, all orders can be customized by flavor and color. I also offer hand painting and other decorative elements for your special occasion. Some examples of how you could utilize that is to add a bridesmaids name to the cookies, or some extra sparkles or gold foil on top of your favors. The possibilities are endless and I’m here to help you shower your loved ones with edible art.

How to use a paper planner to plan your wedding | Cinnamon Wolfe Photography | North NJ Wedding Photographer

by  Susana Rodriguez creator of the Goal Digger Planner

Planning a wedding can and will be one of the most exciting and stressful things you will ever do. The idea of getting together your loved ones in an event that somehow has to be the most meaningful and fun event you’ve ever attended, definitely adds pressure. But who doesn’t like a challenge? I know I do.

With all the details that go in place, you better have a system. And although technology is on our side, some people like myself love the idea of pen and paper. Now, can a simple (not wedding) planner help you plan your ideal wedding? I believe so!

When designing the Goal Digger Planner, I took in consideration the dreamers. And I believe that a girl planning her wedding is the ultimate dreamer…. Besides, planning the rest of your life in a few months need some help and if it comes in gold and pink colors, I’ll take it.

So here are 5 ways to use a Weekly Planner to Plan your wedding

Set a time for planning

Although planning the wedding is fun and exciting, you shouldn’t let it take your whole life while it’s happening.  By setting specific times of the week for wedding planning, bot you and your fiancé will know when to talk about it, and that way, your dates don’t become wedding planning sessions. Remember to always take care of your relationship.
The “My ideal week schedule” page on the Goal Digger Planner can help you set your week with chunks of time for wedding planning, dates, work, and even     vendors meetings if you have specific time on the week that would be ideal. That way, when you call a vendor, you can try to schedule that specific time.

Break it down

The idea of planning the biggest day of your life, where you will feed and entertain dozens of people, while wearing the most luxurious and expensive dress you’ve ever worn and committing for life to the man of your dreams sounds almost impossible to plan out. That’s why breaking the big day into mini goals sounds more doable. Based on your timeline, you will know what you should be doing 8-12, 6-8, 4-5 months before the wedding and so forth. While you can find that in your wedding book, it’s extremely important that you break it down in your daily planner.
The Goal Digger Planner has a space to write monthly mini goals and that is a great space to mark down the big things you should have done by that month.

I.e.: Your wedding is November 12, 2016, you better mark in big words that a major May goal is to order your dress.

Money countdown

No doubt about it, planning a wedding can get pretty expensive. So unless you two have been smart enough that you already have plenty of savings,  or have a set of parents that will foot the whole bill, you might need a savings plan to get this all done.
One of the best ways to keep you accountable is to have realistic and specific money goals.
At the beginning of each week, write down how much you will save. To keep you inspired you can start a countdown to you goal. Seeing the number growing definitely keeps you inspired, and that is the way to start a Monday. At least I would be inspired!

The obvious

Of course, a weekly planner also serves as a personal assistant. Make sure to write down all your meetings and to do’s. Having posts its all over can be overwhelming, and you can easily miss an important meeting that might be hard to reschedule if your vendors are busy. Adding payments due-dates and important calls to make, will avoid rushing last minute.

Carry the important stuff

In between pages as bookmarks or in the back pocket keep a photo of you two. That will remind you how amazing is to plan the rest of your life.

They say “when you fail to plan, you plan to fail”. So if you take control of the things you can while planning your wedding, the unexpected will be handled with less stress. This is a blissful moment… enjoy every second and Always remember the reason for all this planning is that you found your true love.
