what to expect

What services do you offer? 

Wedding, engagement and anniversary photography for seriously awesome couples. ;-) 

Hoooowever..... not only am I a wedding photographer, but I am also a marriage celebrator. My goal is to get to know the two of you not only as clients, but also as friends. I want to cheer you on not only on your wedding day, but throughout your marriage. Marriage is my JAM. 

When should I book? 

In all reality it depends on your wedding date. Some dates are very popular and book up quickly (like a year or more out!) Best rule of thumb is to book at least 6-8 months in advance to secure the date. I only book around 20 weddings per year so they may book up quickly! 

Do we get an engagement session? 

Engagement sessions are complimentary and included in all of my collections. I highly encourage them as they are a fabulous opportunity for us to get to know each other and get comfortable with each other before the wedding day. Aaaaand you end up with amazing images to include on save the dates or wedding invites. Winning! 

When will I receive my images? 

Typically your gallery will be ready for viewing within 8 weeks after the wedding date (Engagement session images are ready within 4 weeks). A small preview is usually available on facebook or instagram within a week of your wedding to tide you over. :)

Do I get all of the photos taken?

Short answer: yes and no. 

Long answer: You will receive all final images that meet my standard of quality. Blinks, blurry or test shots or duplicate shots are obviously not provided because ain't nobody got time for that. All images that tell the absolute best story of your day will be included in your gallery.  

What type of equipment do you use? 

I'm a Canon girl ;-) All of my equipment can be seen HERE. 

What if my wedding is outside New Jersey? 

Fantastic! I love traveling and seeing the world! I am absolutely available to photograph weddings outside of NJ. I also have many connections in Seattle, New Mexico and California. Contact me about how it all works! 

Are you insured?

You better believe it. 

How many weddings do you shoot a year?

My goal is to shoot between 15-20 weddings per year. My clients deserve my utmost attention and service so I keep that number to a minimum. 

Will you be the primary shooter/is there a second shooter?

I will be the primary shooter for any wedding booked with CWP. Second shooters are included in all collections. My husband Paul occasionally shoots with me or I hire a qualified 2nd shooter with a similar personality, aesthetic and style as me.  

Is this a side job or your main job?

In order to provide the level of service my clients and I desire, this is absolutely my full time profession. 

Do you edit all of the photos yourself?

I do! My style is very classic, bright and timeless. I do not do heavy editing on my photos as I work to capture everything as perfectly in camera as possible. If heavy editing is requested, let me know and I can come up with a quote for you. 

Do you include a Wedding Album?

I am obsessed with wedding albums and my hope is for all of my couples to walk away with one that I have created for them. The story of your day inside a beautiful leather album is something that you can cherish for a lifetime and pass down through the ages. My albums are included in two collections and can be added on to any collection at any time. Identical parent albums are also an option. 

Can I order prints? 

You certainly can! I am also a firm believer in high quality prints that are the right color. You can order prints directly from your gallery or you can also order framed wall art or canvases directly from me as well. 

Are you funny? Will you tell jokes? 

It's ok, I'll let this question slide...you obviously haven't met me yet. ;-)
