David + Devon // Engaged

Mukilteo Engagement Session | Cinnamon Wolfe Photography

In just a few short days these two are getting married!!!

I have known Devon for a quite a few years now. I worked with her mom, Elizabeth when I lived in Seattle and she and I became great friends. I would go to her house often and she and her family would watch my dogs when I had to go out of town. I love everything about Elizabeth, Devon and Randy. They are the kindest people and it has been such a pleasure watching Devon grow into the beautiful and mature woman that she is now.

It was so fun to watch her relationship with David bloom. When I heard that they got engaged last November, I was so overjoyed with happiness for the two of them and their families. When Devon contacted me about photographing their wedding, I was even more excited and honored that they would want me there to capture their most special day.

I hadn't met David until this past Saturday when we went out to the Mukilteo Lighthouse to do some engagement photos with the two of them, but he was exactly as I expected: kind, funny and head over heels in love with his future bride.

These two have amazing chemistry and you can tell their love is solidified in something much bigger than the just the two of them. I am so excited to capture their covenant and union this Friday at the Pickering Barn in Issaquah. Hurry up and get here Friday!!!

Love you two!

Reflection

This just might be one of my favorite photos to date. I am such a huge fan of negative space.

Paul and I were walking along the top level of the ferry when I saw this girl staring out. I had to capture it.

This photo perfectly captures my feeling for Seattle.
