This session last week so utterly perfect. The locations, the light, the weather, the family. I could not have asked for better. I really enjoy when families get together and get everyone involved in creating memories. It gives me an opportunity to document the larger family for everyones keepsake and also to document the smaller family units/relationships that are ever present in any family dynamic.

And it doesn't hurt when they are all gorgeous AND love having fun and just going with the flow of the session.

The Smith family is very dear to me. Liz and I have become close friends over this past year and she is an amazing sister in Christ to me. Her husband Josh is hysterical and keeps us rolling. Her cutie patootie little guy is energetic and curious and LOVED the camera. And I mean loved. He kept running up to me to get a closer look at what I was doing every time he could. Every time he did it, it made for a great shot!

I am so excited with these images because I think they perfectly capture this fun family as well as the beauty of the area they call home!
