Sacha + Ricardo // Brooklyn Winery Wedding

The more and more I 2nd shoot weddings, the more I enjoy them. Working with another photographer (who is usually also a friend), being able to be helpful not only to them but others throughout the day without the constant pressure of having to "get the shot", being an extra set of hands, seeing things that might not get seen as the primary....there are just so many things to enjoy about it!

Shooting this wedding with my great friend Debbie from deborahannphotography was such a fun experience. I headed over to the groom's apartment in Brooklyn for some getting ready shots before making the long and slow drive over to the super hip and cool Wythe Hotel

That's when the rain started!! It poured and poured and made for a truly unique first look! We all had to take Ubers over to the reception location, The Brooklyn Winery, even though it was only a few blocks away.

Despite the rainy afternoon, nothing could stop these amazing people from having a great time. Everyone was so nice and friendly and this wedding was a true celebration of two people in love and ready to start their lives together.

And what a beautiful spot for a ceremony! So unique. I have never seen anything like it. Gorgeous details around every corner. I loved spending the day with these lovely people and so blessed to have had the opportunity! For WAAAY more of the pretty, head over to Debbie's blog to see the full day documented beautifully!!

Bryan + Angela // Clarks Landing

Not only is April a fantastic month because it usually means Spring is in the air and the flowers start blooming and things start turning green again, but it also meant it was finally time to shoot a wedding with one of my new AMAZING photographer friend, Jennifer Larsen!!

I am 2nd shooting a LOT of weddings this year (cough...TWENTY...cough) and I am so pumped that one of the first ones to start off the year was with Jen. I would be headed over to where the guys were getting ready and then meeting her at the venue for first look, portraits and all the good stuff in between!

It was an absolutely GORGEOUS day with a perfect amount of clouds. It was a little hot in the early part of the day, but one we got to the venue it was that perfect temp that is between like 68-72 where it's not too hot and not too cold, it's juuuuust right.

Everyone at this wedding was so nice and friendly and funny and we all had a great day getting lots of beautiful and romantic portraits as well as some silly and goofy portraits. We did a LOT of laughing. And let me tell you...these people knew how to party!! So many people were out on the dancefloor and it was awesome! I am so glad I was able to be there for Bryan and Angela's special day at Clarks Landing and I loved shooting with my great friend Jen.

Enjoy some images from the day! And don't forget to check out Jennifer's post as well!!
