Rachel + Joe // The Park Savoy

For the past year of living in NJ I have heard about The Park Savoy. Somehow I ended up following them on Instagram and they have been on my radar of gorgeous wedding venues in Northern NJ. When Christy Nicole asked if I was available to 2nd shoot any of her wedding dates, the one day I happened to be available was for the wedding of Rachel and Joe at The Park Savoy! I was pumped!

It was a gorgeous day and their wedding was a morning wedding with the ceremony in the early afternoon. It was so classic and romantic and The Park Savoy did not disappoint! Amazingly beautiful ceremony spot and gardens surround the classic estate. 

Rachel was stunning and Joe was so dapper in his black tie. Their first look was so emotional and the rest of the day was spent enjoying time with their family and friends. Rachel and Joe have been together for 13 years so this day was a long time coming. I am so thrilled that I was able to be a part of this day!!!

I'm published! // The Side Hustle Gal

It's official. I am a published author. 

Sort of. 

A while ago I published this blog post about how it's totes OK to be a part time entrepreneur. A lot of what you hear in the creative community is that the end goal should ALWAYS be to drop the 9-5 job and I think this message does a disservice. Plus I just plain disagree. I think its great to have a full time entrepreneur job (I do!) but I also think its amazing to have a full time job and a side hustle as well. There can be beauty and happiness and contentment in both, but the latter doesn't get celebrated all that much. 

Welp, The gals over at The Side Hustle Gal saw my post and thought it was the bee's knees and asked if they could publish it in their book! Ummm...how about a yes on that one?
