Bryan + Angela // Clarks Landing

Not only is April a fantastic month because it usually means Spring is in the air and the flowers start blooming and things start turning green again, but it also meant it was finally time to shoot a wedding with one of my new AMAZING photographer friend, Jennifer Larsen!!

I am 2nd shooting a LOT of weddings this year (cough...TWENTY...cough) and I am so pumped that one of the first ones to start off the year was with Jen. I would be headed over to where the guys were getting ready and then meeting her at the venue for first look, portraits and all the good stuff in between!

It was an absolutely GORGEOUS day with a perfect amount of clouds. It was a little hot in the early part of the day, but one we got to the venue it was that perfect temp that is between like 68-72 where it's not too hot and not too cold, it's juuuuust right.

Everyone at this wedding was so nice and friendly and funny and we all had a great day getting lots of beautiful and romantic portraits as well as some silly and goofy portraits. We did a LOT of laughing. And let me tell you...these people knew how to party!! So many people were out on the dancefloor and it was awesome! I am so glad I was able to be there for Bryan and Angela's special day at Clarks Landing and I loved shooting with my great friend Jen.

Enjoy some images from the day! And don't forget to check out Jennifer's post as well!!

ShainaLeePhotography // Coaching Session

Shaina reached out to me a few months ago regarding needing help with some questions she had on her Squarespace site, and a few back and forth emails eventually turned into her booking an in person coaching session with me. I was over the moon excited that she lives in Connecticut and so we were going to be able to do the session in person rather than over the phone or Skype.

The Monday afternoon was perfect and we were able to sit and chat in my house and talk all things business and photography over lunch and cookies. I knew immediately from her online presence that Shaina and I would get along great and I was so excited to dive deeper into the questions she had about turning her wedding and portrait photography business into something that will contribute to her family for years to come.

Afterwards we went out to my front and backyards to do some headshots in the wonderful afternoon light.

Shaina, it was such a pleasure to spend time with you and to get to know you better and I can't wait to see where you take your business next. With the passion and drive you have, I have no doubt that you will be able to reach every single one of your goals!!

Go leave Shaina some love at her website, facebook or instagram
